You also take responsibility for ensuring that your area is free of any items that may cause injury (ie. falling clothing racks) or impede safe passage for shoppers. All table coverings must be fire retardant. I hereby understand that I am responsible for ensuring that my vendor area is safe and that I am fully responsible for the items that I am selling and at no time will the organizer of the Mom-to-Mom Sale be held liable for my actions or for the loss of items due to theft, damage or any other reason. In addition, the organizer of the Mom-to-Mom Sale is not responsible for any loss or injury that occurs to me, my property, including my vehicle or any of my helpers as a result of participation in the event.
Garbage Deposit Cheque Policy
I understand that my Garbage Deposit Cheque will not be returned to me. If the site does not incur an additional charges for garbage left behind by vendors (cardboard boxes, unsold items, broken items, product boxes, pizza boxes...) the Garbage Deposit cheques will be destroyed. If additional cleaning and dumping fees are required all of the garbage deposit cheques will be cashed and any monies that are left over will be donated to the Rose of Sharon charity. The deposit is a group effort as we cannot easily monitor the grounds both inside and out at all times, however, if individuals are found violating this policy by MTM Markham, only the individual will be charged. Garbage cheque status will be posted on Facebook and/or via Vendor RSS feed approximately a week after the sale. Cash deposits are non-refundable.
